NAC Arrow Class Scout Ship

In the New Anglican Colonies, these are used much more extensively than in the Conglomerate due to the sheer amount of unexplored frontiers yet to be mapped and studied.  While the typical military-attached Arrow will have the usual compliment of a Corvette style secondary battery, it is becoming more and more common that they be produced unarmed due to their demand by eager individuals of aggressive new noble households seeking to make a name for themselves through discovery or service to the defensive fleets.

The world seemed to fade into silence as Sir Jonathan Hostetler stepped into the construction bay, seeing his newly commissioned Arrow drowned out the den of workers and machinery laboring in the grav-dock...

In the silence, they unfolded closer to the unusual reading than anticipated.  The passive scan intakes blared in alarm as they picked up the enormous body of Cyb craft they were floating into.  Sir Jonathan ordered all power immediately cut and all crew to high alert...

He slid his hand down the freshly layered yellow hull, parts of the blue trim already installed.  He glanced to the stern, where the ship identification markings were to be placed, just above the bridge...

Slowly the Cyb craft floated by them, their geometric plates slowly shifting on bodies that adjusted course to each other like a school of fish.  The crew noticed that Sir Jonathan's eyes constantly went from the readouts to a holo-pic he kept in a pocket chrono...

"What'll it be Sir?"  The silence was broken by the chief foreman who asked him the question.  Waves of cacophonous work overtook his senses for a moment before the question could be repeated, "What shall we name her?"

With terrifying speed, the Cyb ships began to alter course in unison.  A scan by one of the rearmost must have alerted them to the nature of the silent stranger in their midst.  "Full power to thrusters!  Evasive maneuvers!"  No one was paying enough attention to see that he was clutching the pocket chrono as hard as he was the command wand....

He whispered softy, but with determination, "We're going to make it, Wilma."
He whispered softly but with determination, "We're going to make it, Wilma."

From the Emerald Coast Skunkworks book:

The Arrow class is the NACs main scouting and surveying craft. In peacetime the ships will often be outfitted with extra supplies for long range missions. Unlike other navies the Arrow class has predominately civilian crews consisting of science or other government personnel.

In my upcoming ruleset "Astral Action", I plan on making this a cheap, scenario-driven ship with either the purpose to complete scenarios that require Scanning Commands/Orders or some deliverance of location-driven events.

"Wilma" from the story has a Point Defense suite

Towards this, I purpose the Primary slot to have Boosters and the Secondary to have Advanced Scanners.  Making this ship cost less and representing it's less militant nature, only 5 of 10 hit boxes will be allowed.  A more militant version of this ship should either include another secondary slot containing Shields for solo survivability or a Beam/Kenetic weapon for EXTREMELY light escort duty (more for the vanity of the purchaser than for actual effectiveness).
